Student Application Information

“The Teaching Fellows Program was vastly informative and equally transformative. As a member, I learned to more confidently speak publicly, to more effectively cater to individual needs, and to appreciate the incredible volume of work that is necessary to be a successful professor. The whole program enabled my self-improvement, in these respects, and affirmed my desire to teach. For me, the goal of the program has been achieved.”

The Teaching Fellows Program is designed for students who:

  • are pursuing or seriously considering a career in education at any level (pre-K through higher education), including teaching, counseling, librarianship, or other educational roles

  • have a strong foundation of previous course experience and good academic performance at SRJC; and
  • will be active in their coursework during the academic year of program participation.
